During his remarks, Trump detailed a high-stakes negotiation with President Macron regarding the price of medication in France.

Trump claimed that while the U.S. pays significantly higher prices, countries like France have benefited from American subsidies for decades. "I said, 'Emmanuel, you're going to have to lift the price of that pill to $20, maybe $30,'" Trump recounted.
