The Delhi Police have intensified their investigation into the recent protest-related violence by registering around 10 First Information Reports (FIRs) across multiple police stations in the national capital. The cases have been filed in areas including Parliament Street, Connaught Place (CP), Mandir Marg, and other locations where clashes and public disturbances were reported during the demonstrations.

According to police officials, investigators are examining CCTV footage, mobile phone videos, social media content, and recordings from nearby surveillance cameras to identify individuals allegedly involved in violence, vandalism, damage to public property, and attacks on security personnel. Officials said every piece of available evidence is being carefully reviewed before further legal action is taken.

The protests witnessed tense confrontations between demonstrators and security forces, resulting in injuries on both sides. Several police personnel reportedly sustained injuries while attempting to control the crowds, while a number of protesters were also hurt during the clashes. Authorities have not yet released the final number of injured individuals, stating that the assessment is still underway.

To prevent any further escalation, Delhi Police have increased security deployment in sensitive areas of the city. Additional personnel have been stationed at important intersections, government buildings, and protest-prone locations, while regular patrols are being carried out to maintain law and order. Officials have also appealed to citizens to avoid spreading unverified information or rumours on social media, warning that misleading content could create unnecessary panic.

Police sources indicated that more FIRs may be registered if fresh evidence emerges during the investigation. Authorities emphasized that anyone found responsible for acts of violence or destruction of public property will face legal action in accordance with the law. The investigation remains ongoing, and officials have assured that it will be conducted fairly and based on evidence.

The developments come as the administration continues to monitor the overall law-and-order situation in Delhi. While normal life has resumed in many parts of the city, security agencies remain on alert to ensure peace and prevent any further incidents related to the protests.
