Mumbai: Global girl group KATSEYE could be heading to India for the 2027 edition of Lollapalooza India, sparking excitement among fans. The group, backed by HYBE and Geffen Records, has reportedly emerged as one of the names linked to the festival through social-media clues and fan theories. 

KATSEYE, known for songs such as Touch, Gnarly, Gabriela and Debut, has quickly built an international following since its formation through the Dream Academy project. The group has already performed at major global music festivals, including Lollapalooza in Chicago and Argentina. 

Why are fans expecting KATSEYE in India?

Speculation intensified after Lollapalooza-related social-media activity appeared to reference KATSEYE’s music, particularly lyrics associated with their hit song Touch. Fans began decoding the clues and connecting them with the festival’s upcoming India edition. 

However, KATSEYE’s appearance has not been officially confirmed yet. Reports currently describe the group as part of the rumoured lineup, while the complete Lollapalooza India 2027 artist list is still awaited. 

Lollapalooza India 2027 dates

The fifth edition of Lollapalooza India is scheduled for January 23–24, 2027, at Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Race Course. The festival will feature four stages and more than 40 live performances across the weekend. 

Meanwhile, British singer Olivia Dean has emerged as a confirmed/strongly reported headliner for the 2027 edition, adding further anticipation around the festival’s upcoming lineup announcement. 

For now, KATSEYE’s India debut remains a highly anticipated possibility rather than an officially confirmed performance. If the clues prove accurate, their appearance would mark another major milestone for the fast-rising global girl group and give Indian fans a chance to see them live on home soil.
